Poems can make Happy or Sad, depending how one reads them

some of my tears I cried for myself I have to admit, but most of them flowed for the country I lost and maybe will not see again
PERSIANA
5th May 1999

Who I am is not important, I could be your next door neighbour, the person sitting opposite you in the train or just any pedestrian you pass on your daily walk.

But like you, I love life and today I can say, life loves me too.

Tears of the Southern Cross

The dream of a land lost in the past
Torn up and divided
A movie of time which was never cast
Hate and blind rage decided

Words hiding lies flooded the land
Once uttered already forgotten
Promises invented on demand
Beware, they are foul and rotten

Freedom came with hopes to unite
Apartheid abolished, the people had won
But all hopes died in the cruel night
South Africa, where have you gone?
